In its upcoming auction of Antique Arms and Armour from 9 til 11 November 2010 the Galerie Fischer offers again an oustanding variety of objects in different categories.

A special focus lays on the impressive ¾ Field Armour, German, around 1535. It bears the monogram “AG” of the etching artist Ambrosius Gemlich (born around 1500, died after 1542). Dr. Rudolf Beglinger, expert for antique arms and armour explains: “Gemlich is one of only a few representatives of etching art, who we can attribute some preserved works to. Experts call him one oft he most outstanding persons in his field.”
